Song of the Day: Craving // James Bay
Today I ventured to the Tower of London where I was utterly astounded by what I saw. The fort was founded in 1066 (!!!!!!) by William the Conqueror and it has survived the last 900+ years. I feel as though every day I encounter something that is unlike anything I have ever seen and today was no exception. The amount of history that I was able to see tay is enough to make it a stop on a visit to London, but the culture that lives inside the walls is incredible. Seeing the Crown Jewels up close was beyond amazing. As an American and non-Brit, I have an unhealthy obsession with the English royalty so seeing the crowns and scepters that belonged to the English kings and queens over the last 400 years or so was actually life changing.
My afternoon was spent visiting ITV Studios and exploring the set of Loose Women, which is similar to the show The View in America. We were fortunate enough to speak with many of the employees there and they told us a lot about their daily working schedule. Although television is not something that I can see myself getting into, it still was pretty damn cool to be on the set of a TV show. Hearing the advice and tips from professionals is always something that can be useful moving forward in my career. Tomorrow we head over to Warner Bros. Studios to meet with the president and tour the Harry Potter sets. Prepare yourselves for all the magic puns.
