Today my friends and I had our own little adventure, we went and popped a visit to The Scotch Whisky Experience!  This was an experience truly like no other. We took part in an interactive ride where we were able to learn about the whisky making process through their own virtual distillery and that was amazing! This tour is very popular and extremely well known due to its history and culture. Having this added benefit means  free advertising which brings the Scotland has many stereotypes that come from all over the world, but one thing that’s true is that they sure do know how to make some good whisky! As a journalist who’s extremely interested in the commercial industry, I started to think about all the advertising and marketing that could go into it.

The Scotch Whisky Experience is so deep and rich with history, it attracts such a mass audience that advertising and marketing are not even completely necessary. What made this place so interesting to me was that I was able to learn about the regions of Scotland and use a scratch and sniff guided sensory which was something that I have never experienced before. Just like Ireland, I love Scotland so much because everyone here is so passionate about where they come from and take pride in their traditions like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Of course it was a blast to test taste the whisky but that on a scale of things was so irrelevant compared to all the well preserved history that came along with it. I love Scotland! (:
